Ever since I can remember I have loved planning and organizing anything and everything. When I went to Lubbock Christian University (LCU), I initially started chasing one of my other passions, Marine Biology. I graduated LCU in May 2018 with my bachelor’s degree in animal science and immediately started an Internship in Nassau, Bahamas training and caring for bottlenose dolphins, sea lions and sting rays. Once I got back to Texas following my internship, I had planned on pursuing a career using my degree, but God had other plans for me. In June 2019, I started contract work helping with some of the weddings and events at the Willows Event Center and I absolutely loved it! I wanted to work as many events as they would have me! Then I officially joined the Willows team as an Event Associate this past December 2019. I couldn’t be happier with my job and my team; I am so thankful that I waited for God’s timing and His plan is greater than anything I could come up with on my own. I love helping all of you plan and create your perfect event; I can’t wait to meet you!

What is Your Favorite Place in the World?

My favorite place in the world is the Bahamas. In high school I did a report over the Bahamas and thought it would be an incredible place to travel to, but I had no idea until I went there myself. During my Internship there I stayed on Paradise Island and it fits its name perfectly. I immediately fell in love! The beaches are so calming and relaxing, your worries and cares just drift away. The people are so friendly and nice, they are much more patient and in less of a hurry than a lot of people state side, as many people say they are on “Island Time”. If you ever get the chance to visit, I would recommend just taking the time to visit a beach in the evening when everything is calm and you can truly take it all in, God’s beauty and creativity, God’s power and might. Psalm 46:10 “Be still and know that I am God.” is truly the best way I can describe the feeling when you are standing on the calm beach listening to the waves crash along the sand.

What is Your Favorite Holiday?

I love the Christmas season! The joy and excitement in everyone’s eyes, the giving spirit in everyone’s hearts, the love everyone is giving and receiving. I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, and this is one of the main times when everyone makes time to get together. I love planning holiday parties for my family and friends so that we can all enjoy each other’s company and have a good time together. It is not about the gifts you receive but it is about spending time with loved ones.

If you were a Crayon what color would you be?

I thought this one would be a fun question to answer as it takes me back to when I first started competing in pageants, because when you are younger and competing in pageants rather than political questions, they give you some fun questions that cause you to think a little bit, such as this one. If I were a crayon I would be a bright turquoise blue, because this color reflects my personality. I am bright, energetic, friendly, positive, happy and helpful. This reminds me of summer and I love the summer and warm weather.
