Last Spring, The Texas Tech Athletic Department hosted a full-day retreat for 200 staff members. They chose The Willows Event Center because of the roomy, available space to have breakout sessions, full group sessions as well as the beautiful outdoor space for games and activities.

“The professionalism and attention to detail by The Willows staff was phenomenal, as well as the efficiency and ease of the space itself,” said Carson Hadaway, assistant director of athletics administration for the Texas Tech Athletic Department. “The space is perfect for small and large organizations, and there are many options for indoor and outdoor activities.”

Hadaway said her team liked the flexibility of The Willows Event Center space and what that offered them.

“The ability to convert the main room to smaller rooms for breakout sessions was a major reason why we originally chose The Willows and decided to come back for a second year,” she said.

While their 2020 Staff Retreat has been postponed, our team is working to create a plan that will keep our guests safe and make them feel comfortable.
